Teachers’ duties, qualities and Necessary Explanations.
(T/DQ NE/Aug/2014)
What is Aloron about? What is the primary aim of the school? How is it different from other schools?
A work list for teachers of Aloron, is closely linked to the answers to the above three questions. A teacher cannot devote his abilities effectively and efficiently to teach if he/she is not clear about where and why he/she will be teaching?
Aloron is determined to stand out in a crowd of schools to provide education to children, which their parents seek for them and are willing to pay for that education. None would be willing to buy bad or substandard goods which do not give the desired benefit or value for the money he/she pays for the goods.
What is teaching? What is Knowledge?
Firstly, a person who decided to work as a teacher at Aloron should be clearly aware what does it mean to be a teacher?
Teaching is passing on knowledge from the teacher to the seeker of knowledge. A teacher is a person who passes on knowledge, which he/she acquired by studying in a discipline in formal educational institutions (namely schools, colleges, universities and research centres). Aloron’s teachers are people who have chosen teaching career as their aim in life to produce exceptional citizens for Bangladesh where excellence in performance and Honesty of purpose will distinguish them from others.
A teacher of Aloron must know what is knowledge?
Knowledge is what humans have learnt from using their senses from around where they live, from what they think, invent, discover, innovate, acquire and create using their thinking and sensory capabilities and what they have accumulated from the past experiences, creations and discoveries. This is what is called acquired knowledge. This knowledge is not unchangeable, infallible, unquestionable and PURE. It is ever changing with time and space.
The pure, flawless and unchangeable and primordial knowledge is called REVEALED KNOWLEDGE, which originates from the CREATOR of the universe. Allah has revealed this knowledge to selected humans (called messengers and Prophets) (biblical name God) through the angel Jibrail (biblical name Gabriel) for the guidance of humans.
The last of all revealed books of Allah containing purest and unchallengeable and unchangeable knowledge is the Qur’an, which was sent down by Almighty Allah through the angel Jibrail to Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) within a period of 22 years 5 months fourteen hundred years ago. Not a dot and a letter have been changed or altered till today in the Qur’an and will never be changed as Allah himself guaranteed its protection and safe guard. It is indeed a miracle par excellence!
When the acquired knowledge and the revealed knowledge get combined and the revealed knowledge is accepted as the purest source of knowledge humans become humans, otherwise they learn to fly in the vast limitless skies like birds, swim in the vast and huge oceans like fishes and dig inside the earth and discover enormous amount of resources like oil, gas, minerals and what not, BUT they do not learn how to live on Allah’s earth as His best shaped creature. Humans are the only creatures of
Almighty Allah who can distinguish the Right from Wrong but they live on Allah’s earth as animals under the rule of MIGHT IS RIGHT, which we, as humans have been helplessly observing every day in this world.
Aloron looks forward to seeing the world is lived and ruled by human’s not human looking animals.
And Aloron is committed to inculcate into the young minds the belief that we, humans will have to answer to Allah, our creator for all what we do on this earth in our never-ending life called Akhirah (life after death). The idea of honesty comes from this idea of accountability to Allah in Akhirah. Honesty is meaningless without the belief in accountability in Akhirah. Why would a person not steal, lie, take bribe, kill or murder, loot and exploit and be a tyrant if he/she does not have to answer to any authority like Almighty Allah for his/her bad and wrong actions? Good actions need rewards in Akhirah and bad actions need to be punished by an All Powerful Creator, Allah? A person becomes honest and keeps away from evil actions because of his/her belief in Akhirah and the idea of Recompense.
